WHAT IS FEAR – It’s an emotion that we all feel and have to deal with.
Basically, fear is that little voice at the back of your head which is built into your system that is there to protect you from doing things that you’ve never done before.
But what you may not realise is that fear stops you from being able to achieve what you want to achieve. If you want to grow and evolve into something better, fear is the one thing that keeps holding you back.
So the BIG question is…How do you move out of fear and move to an empowered state?
To answer this, I wanted to share with you my four top secret tips which I believe are really helpful in enabling you to confront and deal with your fear.
Stop over analysing things: A lot of people continuously over analyse a situation with the aim of making themselves feel more comfortable about making a significant decision. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok to have all your bases covered, but what you need to realise is that it’s never going to feel right.
Back yourself up: It’s true when they say that the only person that is stopping you is yourself. So always back yourself up!
Take a Risk: We all know that every decision that we make requires a degree of risk and we should be prepared for that. Going outside of your comfort zone is the only way you can grow as a person and learn. Failures are never failures, they are called experiences.
Find a mindset coach/mentor: Reaching out to others doesn’t mean you are weak. It just means that you need an outside person’s help to go over your current hurdle, the same hurdle that stopping you from moving forward.
Once you get out of that disempowering state of fear, you actually transition into an empowered state which I think you should be able to tap into because, when you feel that sense of empowerment, you will be able to confidently take action and confront the something that scares you.
